Healthcare Affordability
Justin Busch is fighting to make healthcare more affordable for all Hoosiers. During his tenure in the Indiana State Senate, Justin Busch has been a champion for patients and consumers. As healthcare costs continue to skyrocket, he puts patients before profits by taking on big hospitals, insurance companies, and special interests more focused on healthy profits instead of healthy Hoosiers. He serves as Ranking Member on the Senate Committee on Healthcare and Provider Services, and he can be trusted to always make quality, affordable healthcare for Hoosiers one of his legislative priorities.

Economy
We can trust Justin Busch to continue leading efforts to help Hoosier families and businesses during these challenging economic times. He understands how Biden’s inflation has strained family budgets, and he’s doing all he can as our state senator to make life more affordable. As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, he’s demanded and only voted for honestly balanced budgets. He helped pass the largest tax cut in Indiana’s history, which reduced income and utility taxes for Hoosiers. He also supported legislation that cut taxes and regulations on businesses, helping make Indiana one of the best states in the nation for business.
Security
Justin Busch is fighting to keep Hoosiers safe. A trusted leader on this issue, he understands the serious security risks to our state and our communities caused by Biden’s refusal to address the crisis at the southern border, and he co-authored Senate Enrolled Act 181 this year, which prohibits sanctuary cities and campuses in Indiana. He also recently authored and passed legislation protecting Indiana farmland, land near or adjacent to military installations, and critical infrastructure from being purchased by persons from adversarial countries, including China, North Korea, and Iran.
Values
A trusted champion of our traditional Hoosier values, Justin is a strong supporter of our Second Amendment freedoms, and he helped pass Indiana’s Constitutional Carry law so that all law-abiding Hoosiers can protect themselves, their family, and their property. He also helped pass Indiana’s recent abortion ban – one of the strongest in the country. He fought back after the Covid pandemic to ensure Indiana churches cannot be forced to close and your right to worship infringed in the event of another emergency declaration.
IMPROVING HEALTHCARE
As a member of the Senate Health Committee, Senator Busch has focused on improving Hoosier healthcare by supporting legislation to increase transparency, make costs more affordable, and support our frontline healthcare professionals.
